65% of high-potential start-ups fail due to conflict among co-founders – according to Harvard Business School
And yet, there is little emphasis on how to build a solid and sustainable partnership in the early days
When starting a business the founders focus on the concept, on fund-raising and marketing – but the softer aspect of the partnership is often over-looked
And this can have a major impact on the business but also on the founders’ lives and well-being
I believe that many of those fallouts can be avoided – and I’m on a mission to help business co-founders build solid foundations for their partnership to enable them to maximise their collaboration and optimise their business growth
I help business co-founders who are going through turbulent times to re-connect, re-align and thrive together again
And what I’ve observed is that many of the tensions which form at a later stage come from unspoken issues which in the early days didn’t seem important to discuss
So I’m now on a mission to help new co-founders to prepare their association well, build solid foundations from the start which means have all the important conversations in the early stage. Doing that work early prevents potential trouble later and can literally save your business in the long run.

A few words from my client Emma – co-founder of a training company:
Delphine’s compassionate, competent and structured approach allowed a deeply sensitive and intense co-founder situation to move forward.
She adapted to an evolving situation in a flexible and respectful way to ensure an outcome where we both felt heard and valued.
It was the perfect balance of warmth to feel looked after and focus to enable us to take courageous steps to reach a professional outcome.
I would highly recommend Delphine for both her professionalism and life experience.
I’m a qualified Executive and Leadership Coach, a qualified Mindset coach, I’m also a DiSC practitioner which I love using with my co-founders’ clients.
When I’m not coaching co-founders, I’m an associate for 3 organisations in the UK as a trainer, facilitator and executive coach, and often get sent to France to facilitate team coaching and training – I love being able to work in both countries!
A bit about me:
I’m a Parisian who became a Londoner more than 20 years ago now.
Like many, I came for a couple of years, but life had other plans for me – I met my German husband here and we’re now raising our two kids trilingual which makes me a little jealous if I’m honest – while I’m perfectly bi-lingual, my German certainly needs brushing up.
I spent 18 years in brand and marketing roles within Eurostar, I loved my job and I was grateful to have the flexibility I needed when my daughter got diagnosed with some special needs. But after a few years I knew I wanted to progress my career, which was hard to do in corporate, as there was still a stigma around flexible working at the time.
That led me to my entrepreneurial journey and I’m so grateful it did – I’ve grown more personally and professionally in the last 5 years than in 18 years in corporate!
