Membership

Our terms and conditions of service (Terms of Service) and the terms and conditions outlined below specifically relating to our directory membership (Membership Terms) apply to our membership and may be amended or superseded in certain instances. In relation to membership, if there is any conflict or inconsistency between the Terms of Service or the Membership Terms, the Membership Terms below will take precedence.

All members of the Female Founders Rise community must sign and comply with our Code of Conduct.

Membership termination

We reserve the right, in our sole, reasonable discretion, to terminate or suspend membership at any time. There are no refunds or reimbursements for membership services that have not been utilised during the membership term.

Payment

Membership benefits will not start until full payment is received. Payments can be made online using a credit or debit card, manually by bank transfer or by cheque. We do not issue invoices for membership fees.

A confirmation email will be sent to the email address provided once a membership application has been approved.

We reserve the right to review and amend membership fees annually.

Your details

The personal and/or company details that you provide are held on a database maintained by us or on our behalf. You have a right to see the information that we hold about you in accordance with our Privacy Policy

Liability

We have no liability for any loss or damage that any person (including any member or potential member) might suffer arising from:

• Termination or lapse of membership;

• Withdrawal of membership benefits in accordance with these Membership Terms; or

• Actions or misconduct of other community members or potential members

Privacy Policy

Our Privacy Policy explains what information we gather about you, what we use that information for and who we give that information to. It also sets out your rights in relation to your information and who you can contact for more information or queries.

We may make changes to the Privacy Policy from time to time and any changes will be made available to you on our website or by other means.

Community Code of Conduct

Below is the Code of Conduct which Female Founders Rise (including directory) members are required to follow.

Our Code of Conduct is fundamental to the values of Female Founders Rise in achieving its mission to enable financial freedom for women through entrepreneurship.

As members of the Female Founders Rise community, users of our platform, attendees at our events, and/or participants in our training, you agree that you will:

• At all times act with integrity and respect towards others in our community;

• Not act in a manner that is defamatory, offensive, abusive or threatening;

• Maintain confidentiality in respect of confidential information disclosed to you by FFR, other members of the community, or at FFR events and/or in relation to FFR;

• Not breach a third party’s privacy rights;

• Not give or make unsolicited business advice or pitches, or advertise or promote your own interests or the interests of third parties, to others in our community;

• Comply with all applicable laws and regulations.
